Cluster Housing

Five typologies of housing, all grouped into clusters following an hierarchy. Each cluster has an open common space for the residence. To further emphasize the different clusters, and to improve ventilation throughout - the entire site is divided into three levels. Walkways are semi covered with pergolas for shade and a level of privacy. The largest road loop provides an uninterrupted path for pedestrian and for joggers.

The profile of the sunshade is abstracted from the soft curve of a tree trunk. Providing additional shade as well as emphasizing the built-in overflowing flowering plants.

The three units are arranged around a central open courtyard to provide cross ventilation, as well as to increase the privacy between units.
Row houses are staggered to maximize natural lighting and ventilation, as well as to visually distinct each home.
Independent villas for the higher income group.
