THESIS: Wildlife Resort, Eco-Tourism GOA

2018: Semester X

A destination resort, creating a tangible link between the wilderness outdoors to the comfort of indoors. Following a method of madness to conceptually split open all the building to allow the nature to intertwine through the built spaces.Creating shadows to blur out the lines between man-made order and Nature's chaos.

Objectives:

To promote protection and conservation of protected areas

Should not disturb the surrounding wildlife

To camouflage with the surrounding

Maximize the use of locally available materials and manpower

To educate the guests and staff members

The priority being the wildlife and the local community 's livelihood.

ACCOMMODATION 

Five different typologies of cottages, each offering an extremely unique experience. One can float on the Talpona river and sway in harmony with the wind, or get memorized by the sheer beauty of the western ghat view from the roof top cottage. These extremes enables a variety of opportunities for the tourists to choose from.
